I.S.K.A Class Structure

Amatuer rules will be the same as the open rules expect that head gear, shin and instep pads must be worn on all contests.  Elbow pads must be worn for Muay Thai.

 NOVICE CLASS


- All rounds to be 3 x 1.5 for the first 3 fights.
- Must wear shin pads of equal thickness.
- Novice fighters cannot fight for titles.


C CLASS

- Must have 4 wins or 6 fights with 2 wins.
- C class are eligible to compete for State titles.
- C class fighters are not eligible to fight for vacant National titles.
- Rounds to be 3, 4 or 5 x 1.5, 2 or 3 minutes, to be set by the ISKA representative.
- Optional to wear shin pads.

B CLASS

- Must have 6 wins.
- B class are eligible to compete for National titles.
- C class fighters are not eligible to fight for vacant International titles.
- Optional to wear shin pads.
- Rounds to be 3, 4 or 5 x 2 or 3 minutes.


A CLASS

- Must have 10 wins.
- A class fighters are eligible to contest any title.
- Shin pads are optional.
- Rounds to be set by the Representative.

All classification upgrades are to be approved by the National Director.
